Privacy Policy

Unbound is developed by Krøis Creative (CVR 46408713), a Danish sole proprietorship. Unbound does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, tracking technology, or cookies.

Data handled by the app

Audio files you import, listening positions, folders, Favorites, bookmarks, and the local Unbound Pro preview date are stored on your devices. Krøis Creative does not receive this information. You can remove imported audio and associated local information in the app; uninstalling Unbound removes its app-container data. A security record used to prevent repeatedly restarting the three-day preview may remain in the device Keychain.

Purchases

Apple processes Unbound Pro purchases and subscriptions. Krøis Creative receives only the purchase and entitlement information Apple makes available to developers and does not receive your full payment details. Apple’s privacy terms govern App Store payments.

LibriVox and Internet Archive

When you use Discover, Unbound requests catalog information from LibriVox and audiobook files, file metadata, cover art, and public community reviews from Internet Archive. These services may receive standard network information such as your IP address under their own privacy practices. Unbound does not send your local library, Favorites, bookmarks, listening activity, or purchase state to either service.

This website and support

This website uses no analytics, advertising, cookies, or third-party scripts. If you email support, Krøis Creative uses the information you include to respond to your request.

Retention and requests

Unbound has no Krøis Creative account or server-side personal profile to delete. Local data can be removed in the app or by deleting the app. For questions or privacy requests, email mathias.krois@gmail.com.
